shink database symantec endpoint protection
เนื่องจากไฟล์ของ sem5.db ของ symantec endpoint protection 12.1 มีขนาดประมาณ  5.8GB ผมเลยหาวิธีการ shink ให้ไฟล์ลดลง
สามารถทำได้โดย
1. โหลด  ShrinkEmbeddedDB.zip   ที่ http://www.symantec.com/connect/downloads/shrink-symantec-endpoint-protection-manager-121-embedded-database

2. backup database  sem5.db และ sem5.log  ที่ "..\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\"

3.แตกไฟล์ไว้ที่ "..\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\"

4. รัน ShrinkEmbeddedDB.bat

5.หลังจากเสร็จแล้ว ลบไฟล์sem5.db.bak  และ sem5.log.bak 

** หลังจากนั้น  3-4 วัน ไฟล์ log ของผมก็มีขนาดเกิน 5Gb  เหมือนเดิม
